OAMC and adidas Officially Debut Type O-4 and Type O-5 Silhouettes
Five colorways in total, ranging across two technical models.

Luke Meier‘s OAMC and adidas have joined forces once again for two more original silhouettes: the Type O-4 and Type O-5. The Type O-4 was originally premiered in March, then delayed until April, then postponed indefinitely — possibly due to the effects of the COVID-19 coronavirus — while this marks the Type O-5’s full unveiling.
Type O-4s are a closed toe hybrid silhouette, seemingly half sandal and half sneaker. Suedes are present on the majority of the upper, with the exposed heel secured by a plastic clip. TPE tongues offer see-through detailing and an overlaid leather toe cap bolsters the stripped-back look. It’s set to arrive in a mix of earthy browns, a more stark grey colorway and a rich mix of navy, black and grey.
Meanwhile, the Type O-5 supplies a more traditional sneaker build that blend trail and street sensibilities. Uppers combine an ultra-clean suede and mesh upper with a beefy adiPRENE midsole and hike-ready toothed outsole. Large overlays that rise to the top eyestay and up onto the heel add a signature embellishment. It’s set to drop in a chalky tan makeup as well as a mix of navy and black in line with the above-mentioned Type O-4.
The OAMC x adidas Type O-4 and Type O-5 are set to release on the adidas webstore August 7. The Type O-4 is priced at $280 USD while the Type O-5 arrives at $300 USD.
