Co-created with some of the world’s top trail-runners to seamlessly connect city trails to the great outdoors, adidas TERREX unveils the PROTOHYPE Series. Coming to us in three styles hailing from the brand’s Trails Without Obstacles (TWO) and Agravic ranges, each shoe mixes sustainable construction, high performance and versatility for any terrain.
First up, the TERREX TWO Ultra Parley is designed for the ultimate long-distance experience. It features a snug heel fit, wider forefoot and rocker shape for a smooth run. Additional details include a Continental rubber outsole for extraordinary grip, a breathable, knitted upper made from Parley ocean plastic, and a BOOST midsole that delivers superior energy on the trail.
Next, the TERREX TWO Parley is built with much of the same aforementioned tech, however, it lacks the bouncy BOOST midsole and instead stars an EVA unit that incorporates adi’s Lightstrike. This less technical shoe is perfect for mid to long trail runs. Lastly, the Agravic BOA offers the unqiue BOA lace system for custom adjustments across the most technical of terrains. It also stars the responsive BOOST midsole as well as a Continental and dyed upper produced through an innovative process that greatly conserves energy and water use.
The PROTOHYPE series will be available from adidas.com/outdoor this August, with the TERREX TWO Ultra Parley retailing for $200 USD, the TERREX TWO Parley for $170 USD and the Agravic BOA for $160 USD.
