Mike Tyson is being immortalized by Chinatown Market in a bold new capsule. This comes shortly after the heavyweight legend announced his plans to get back in the ring for an eight-round exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr.
The capsule includes a series of graphic T-shirts, jersey shorts, boxing gloves and a punching bag. One noteworthy piece is a black T-shirt that’s emblazoned with a portrait of the Tyson in a boxer’s stance — fists poised and ready to punch. In the photo, he’s seen wearing a Chinatown Market logo tee and a set of boxing gloves from the capsule. Another highlight is a graphic tee depicting the boxer standing behind a Bengal tiger. “MIKE TYSON” is placed at the top of the piece in a gleaming metallic font, complemented by illustrations of lightning bolts, while “CHINATOWN MARKET” branding appears below. Other graphic tees, shorts and accessories round off the concise assemblage. A large portion of the proceeds from this capsule will be going to the Tyson Cares Foundation, a children’s charity that aims to “give children a chance to fight.”
Chinatown Market’s “Mike Tyson” capsule will be exclusively available at Hong Kong’s K11 Musea at Popcorn General Store from September 11 to October 4 and online.
