Netflix has officially announced TYSON, a four-part documentary series exploring the life and complex legacy of former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson. Directed by Floyd Russ and executive produced by Bill Simmons, Jim Gray, and Ian Orefice, the project is set to premiere globally on Netflix on October 13, 2026.
Formatted across four 60-minute episodes, TYSON chronicles the boxer’s trajectory from a chaotic childhood in Brooklyn to becoming the youngest heavyweight champion in sports history. Beyond his rise to global superstardom, the series confronts the intense fame, cultural influence, personal choices, and public controversies that surrounded his career both inside and outside the ring.
