After debuting via a KANGHYUK collaboration in July and then releasing in four in-line colorways during August, Reebok‘s new Premier Road Modern is set to hit shelves in a two-shoe “Rust” pack. A duo of fall-ready styles, the colorful “Rust” pack draws its inspiration from the oxidation of metals and colors during the chemical breakdown process.

Arriving in “Burgundy/Dark Yellow/Bottle Green” and “Dust/Grey Green/Neon Blue/Black,” both pairs feature a flowing, one-piece molded upper with cut-out mono mesh inserts on both the lateral and medial quarters. Tongues feature the same foam construction as the uppers for a technical contrast, while each Vector logo is presented in a conceptual, layered style that’s undeniably eye-catching. Down below, EVA foam midsoles bolstered by a midfoot shank round off the look.

If parts of the shoe look somewhat familiar to other models like the DMX Trail Shadow or Vetements x Reebok Spike Runner, that’s because they are. The Premier Road Modern is a continuation of Reebok’s Premier Running collection — a high performance line whose genesis can be traced back to 2005 — and combines elements from over 15 archival models.

Each style from the Reebok Premier Road Modern “Rust” pack is set to debut at stockists like Packer, Bodega and Sneakersnstuff in the coming days. The MSRP is set at $200 USD.
