To mark its 100th year anniversary, New Era recently tapped Helmut Lang for a collaboration centered around the intersection of sports and lifestyle. The centennial team-up begins a celebration of the people and events throughout history that helped transform the headwear company into a cultural icon.
Comprised of takes on the classic 9FORTY and Low 59FIFTY caps, Helmut Lang utilized New Era’s custom-milled wool twill fabric for a premium finish. Available in “Green” or “Navy,” the adjustable 9FORTY cap is embroidered with “FINEST HEADWEAR” which references the celebrated fashion label’s early advertising campaigns. While the fitted Low 59FIFTY caps are embroidered with an archival Helmut Lang monogram and is available in “Black” or “Olive.”
