Nine Inch Nails Release 'Quake' Video Game Soundtrack on Vinyl For the First Time
Reznor and Ross’ ‘The Social Network’ soundtrack also gets a “Definitive Edition” vinyl release.

Nine Inch Nails‘ Quake soundtrack is finally out on vinyl for the first time in 24 years.
The band’s second soundtrack project, the first-person shooter video game was originally released in 1996 and its accompanying soundtrack was initially included in the game’s original CD-ROM. This 2xLP vinyl release marks the first time the soundtrack is released and credited exclusively to NIN, and features a total of three sides and 10 tracks.
In addition to Quake, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross‘ Oscar-winning soundtrack to The Social Network has also received a “Definitive Edition” vinyl reissue. The new release features a total of four sides with four to five tracks each, arriving with a total of 19 tracks.
Nine Inch Nails’ Quake and Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ The Social Network (Definitive Edition) 2xLPs are both available now on the Nine Inch Nails website for approximately $40 USD each.
Elsewhere in music, slowthai, James Blake and more join this week’s HYPEBEAST SOUNDS playlist.
