Converse Celebrates Latin Heritage Month With its "Mi Gente" Capsule

To mark Latin Heritage Month this year, Converse has now revealed its upcoming “Mi Gente” capsule collection.
Celebrating Latinx communities making their voices heard this fall, the comprehensive range features takes on the Chuck 70, the Chuck Taylor All-Star and two ruffle tops. The series of proud footwear options and apparel represents the diversity, duality and vibrancy of Latinx culture through prints inspired by Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
The Chuck 70 included feature an all-over color-contrast ¡Mi Gente!” print that serves as a call to action and unifying the core beliefs of family and identity within the collection. The spotlight on the Spanish letter “ñ,” continues on the All-Star in the form of an ankle patch that accents the By You customization options on the personalizable sneaker.
Converse’s “Mi Gente” capsule is set to release online and at select retailer September 16 for Latin Heritage Month.
