Tyler, the Creator‘s GOLF WANG and Converse are continuing a long-term relationship with the release of a brand-new Chuck 70 Hi. Featuring colorful canvas panels, special branding and a light-hearted outsole embellishment, the high-cut Chuck 70 matches one of GOLF WANG’s Winter 19 varsity jackets perfectly, an indication that its release may have faced substantial delays.

Uppers are made fully of sturdy canvas, with each shoe offering a different colorblocking scheme: the left foot uses red on the lateral side, yellow for the tongue and light blue for the medial side, while the right foot opts for yellow outer halves, red tongues and navy inner halves. Branding is special as well, with a heart, flower and text GOLF hit embroidered on each collar across from the signature Chuck Taylor All-Star badge.

Silver eyestays, white laces and white heel strips round off each top half. Down below, midsoles are done entirely in crisp white. The shoe’s signature detail arrives on the outsoles, via a smiley face graphic that’s split 50/50 between the left and right shoes.

The GOLF WANG x Converse Chuck 70 Hi will release via retailers like HBX and Sivasdescalzo later in September, and is priced at €100 EUR (approximately $118 USD).
