New Balance Serves the 327 in Tonal Fall-Ready Colorways
Choose from “White Birch/Summer Fog” or “Black/Orca.”
New Balance‘s 327 has been a huge hit for the sportswear brand, having been reworked by Casablanca and Concepts, and dropping in many sought-after colorways. Now, the ’70s-inspired silhouette has been treated to two fall-ready colorways, “White Birch/Summer Fog” and “Black/Orca.”
The first offering is the perfect pair to style with a tonal cream fit. Its “White Birch/Summer Fog” colorway is laid back and unassuming, while a mixture of leather, suede, and nylon materials used throughout the upper add texture and depth. The “Summer Fog” hue is somewhat silvery and helps to liven up the cream-blush tones that highlight the hairy suede and leather eyestay panel.
For something even more classic, New Balance offers its 327 in “Black/Orca.” The suede is once again premium and hairy, appearing in black, while the mid-panels are now offered in an almost-metallic gunmetal shade. In addition to this, the eyestay panel has also been given an update, now served in black patent leather which contrasts the matte shade of white used for the large “N” branding on the lateral.
Both pairs are finished with a white midsole and an outsole that runs up the back of the heel, showcasing all of its grippy nodules. The New Balance 327 “White Birch/Summer Fog” and “Black/Orca” are both women’s pairs, but go up to a U.S. 10 in sizing. Take a closer look at the pairs above, and pick up your favorite from New Balance’s website for $160 NZD (approx. $106 USD).
