UNDERCOVER's $1,075 USD Paneled Boot Combines Utilitarian Functionality With Luxury
The exaggerated boot comes in beige or black.

Jun Takahashi‘s cult Japanese imprint UNDERCOVER has dropped two pairs of paneled boots, with one appearing in beige and pink, and another in black and green.
These pairs are essentially elevated work boots, using smooth leather and suede for their uppers and combining this with rugged, exaggerated details such as a chunky, angular sole unit.
The most notable part of the sneaker, aside from its bold sole unit, is the raised seam design on the toe. Each piece of double stitching sits atop of the soft leather upper, working its way to the vamp and eyestay panel where contrasting white stitching can be seen on both colorways.
Elsewhere, there’s a heavily padded collar, a wraparound lace system that will ensure your foot is well secured and strapped in, and the pairs also feature a slightly weathered look to the suede tongue section, which makes the shoe’s look well-used yet sturdy.
Take a look at the UNDERCOVER paneled boots in beige and black above, and pick up your favorite pair from retailers such as SSENSE, where they cost $1,075 USD each.
