Audi's Limited Edition RS6 Avant Celebrates Its 1994 RS2 Predecessor
A modern take on the Nogaro Blue icon.
Despite constant technological innovations, German automaker Audi has never forgotten its roots. To celebrate one of its most iconic releases in the ’90s, the company has now created a limited edition RS6 Avant in tribute of the legendary wagon originally launched back in 1994: the 310-horsepower RS2 Avant.
Taking on the famed Nogaro Blue exterior of its predecessor, this new RS Tribute Edition gives the cool tone a pearl effect finish paired with black optic accents that bring more depth and sleekness to an already speedy-looking silhouette, complemented by a touch of contrasting red by the brake calipers and 22-inch silver five-spoke aluminum wheels. Moving into the interior, you’ll find Valcona S leather upholstery offered alongside carbon twill inlays with Denim blue stitching, completing the car’s sporty yet luxurious aesthetic. As to performance, the wagon runs on a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that can push out a whopping 591 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, which translates to a 0-60 mph time of just 3.5 seconds.
