GANT Partners With Diemme for First Ever Footwear Collab
Heavy on the small details.
Iconic American sportswear brand GANT has teamed up with Italian footwear maker Diemme to produce a limited-edition collection of hiking boots, intended for the outdoors as well as city streets. The collection has dropped today via GANT’s webstore.
For this collaboration, two brand histories have merged to build upon traditional footwear craftsmanship and high-quality design. From the day of its inception, durability and longevity have been key factors in the design and production of every GANT piece.
“Diemme has been on my radar for a long time,” stated GANT’s Global Artistic Director, Christopher Bastin. “They’re the perfect example of a brand that has catapulted a heritage product range into the higher echelons of fashion without compromising on quality and craftsmanship,” he says. “When the opportunity to collaborate came along it was a no brainer.”
The collaborative end product has been based on Diemme’s classic Roccia Vet hiking boot, featuring subtle design elements from GANT’s heritage alongside Diemme’s mountaineering DNA. The collection has been crafted in full-grain, vegetable-dyed cowhide leather and comes with custom tonal and non-tonal rubber trims to protect against rocks, mud and road salt.
The boots – coming in “Persimmon Orange”, “Dry Sand” and “Solar Power” – are available to buy now from GANT’s online store.
