Buddy Tags Tinashe for New Cut "Glitch"
The rapper is aiming to release his ‘Harlan & Alondra’ followup in December 2020.
Buddy has enlisted Tinashe for his newest single, “Glitch.”
Produced by Stevo Evans and Joe Benny, “Glitch” hears Buddy deliver hard-hitting verses about getting rich while Tinashe contrasts the energy in the latter part of the chorus, delivering an equally boastful yet sultry offering about “Money bags/Cash cars/Clothes.”
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Buddy said, “When we made that song it was so tight because I had pulled up on Tinashe, she’s just beautiful, talented, Black woman.” He continued, “Every time I go over there I just try to keep it cool, but I loosened up, caught a little vibe and then we made a tight a– song. And I was like, “Oh, this is fire.” We gotta put it out. Her independence is inspiring. That’s why I f-k wit.”
He also revealed that he’s “shooting for a December release” for his new album, and that he was just in Jamaica with Meek Mill, EarthGang and fellow Zoink Gang member JID. “We was getting a little zoinked out. We made so many songs. I just got to holler at Smino, see what guap they’re talking about and it might be way more than the little bit,” he said.
