Nigel Cabourn and Closed Launch Navy-Inspired FW20 Collection
Unveiling a collection that was teased early this year at Pitti Immagine Uomo.
Nigel Cabourn and German label Closed have unveiled their full Fall/Winter 2020 naval-inspired release, a collection of menswear and womenswear that was initially teased at Pitti Immagine Uomo 97 earlier this year.
Combining their own creative vision, the two brand’s transport Closed’s casual approach and denim heritage and merges it with Cabourn’s signature look that draws inspiration from vintage military uniforms.
The collection features functional outerwear, overalls, striped knits, casual sweats and patterned wool jacquards, as well as heavyweight denim and shearling. Utility details set the tone, while some of the denim comes with authentic dark washes.
Navy and “Military” green are the two dominating colorways, all on relaxed shapes that give the capsule a casual, yet functional look and feel.
