KAYTRANADA and Rema Join Aluna for Boisterous New Single "The Recipe"
Steeped in groovy dancehall-inspired instrumentals.
Aluna has called in KAYTRANADA and Rema for a boisterous song titled “The Recipe.” It’s the seventh track off the London-based singer’s most recent LP Renaissance, which saw a push for its debut solo single “Body Pump” back in May.
Measuring at a little under three minutes and a half, the song sees a vibrant performance from all three artists. Steeped in KAYTRANADA’s familiar sawtooth wave sub-bass sound, the Canadian producer came through with an energetic dancehall-inspired groove for the instrumentals. The beat complements Aluna’s smooth vocals, offset by Rema’s colorful flow as the two exchange verses for an eclectic sound that helps drive the song forward.
