BLACK COMME des GARÇONS Drops Retro Revival Nike T-Shirts
Complete with a collaborative sneaker restock.
BLACK COMME des GARÇONS‘ expanded online presence means more chances at the diffusion line’s collaborative clothing, including a trio of Fall/Winter 2020 Nike T-shirts. The retro-indebted ringer tees are accompanied by a restock of some of BLACK’s most popular Nike sneaker silhouettes, including the recent Waffle Racer 2.
All three of the black and white T-shirts feature throwback Nike branding, with a twist. Two invert “Nike” and “Air” text atop itself, yielding a symmetric shape (the former is also the only one lacking the black ringer details at collar and sleeve) while the latter stacks a set of descending “Nike”-laden Swooshes at the chest. The designs are completed by a co-branded print towards the hem on the wearer’s left side.
To commemorate the drop, which launched last month in Japan and only hit Western shores this week, Dover Street Market is offering customers another chance at the ever-popular BLACK COMME des GARÇONS x Nike footwear lineup, from the Air Footscape to the glittery Night Track. Executed in appropriate monochrome shades, the shoes all feature stylized “CDG” branding, executed in contrasting white or tonal black depending on the style.
