Additionally, this week we have Sterling Ruby‘s S.R. STUDIO. LA. Rounding up this week’s drops is PLATEAU STUDIO‘s FW20 collection, titled “SMOG”.

PLATEAU STUDIO Fall/Winter 2020 Collection

Back for Fall/Winter 2020, PLATEAU STUDIO has returned with its latest seasonal collection centered around the theme of “SMOG.” Tapping into one of the most crucial and heavily discussed topics of the century, environmental pollution is tied into a reflection of the mental health issue in modern-day society.

The expansive nature of the FW20 offerings serves as a representation of both climate change and the drastic shifts in one’s emotional state of mind. Fueled by newly introduced styles, some notables include multiples styles of quilted jackets, plush wool knitwear and trousers designed with unique cuts and fits. Straying from its usual minimalist outlook, the latest season sees a focus on a bolder sensibility and variations on traditional fits. Additionally, purposeful textiles marked by low saturation of colors and shades of gray are used throughout the collection to build on the “SMOG” theme.
