Maven Watches Launches The Urban Scout Series
A playful reinterpretation of vintage military timepieces.
Maven Watches – a wristwatch specialist that prioritises versatility and uncompromised quality – has recently released the Urban Scout series, a range of watches inspired by the rugged feel of the vintage field watch. The series embodies utilitarian aesthetics in a minimalist silhouette and comes in a selection of modern colorways, suited for everyday wear.
To create the range, Maven took inspiration from vintage watch dials and crowns yet kept a clean look by using a modern typeface and a matte case finish. The launch includes the MUS-01, MUS-02, MUS-03 and MUS-04 models. Each model – differently toned – comes with a youthful pop of color on the 12 o’clock marker and a subtle homage to the rescue orange found in the classic MA1 jacket on the end of the second hand.
Maven Watches
The watches have a diameter of 40mm with a 20mm lug width. The case is built with 316L stainless steel with a piece of scratch-resistant sapphire glass. Alongside these features, Maven is using Swiss-movement Super-Luminova hands that glow extra bright in the dark and the watch straps have been crafted from vegetable-tanned Italian leather.
