BLACK COMME des GARÇONS Drops Online at Dover Street Market
Collaborations with Nike and other avant-garde looks are now available.
BLACK COMME des GARÇONS has officially dropped online for the first time at Dover Street Market. The esteemed Rei Kawakubo-designed subdivision was originally created in 2008 in response to the global financial crisis, offering CDG garments at a more affordable price point.
For the first time ever, the entire BLACK line is available to shop online. This means that alongside its Nike collaborations — comprised of a Waffle Racer, Footscape, Blazer High and Low, as well as garments such as T-shirts — customers can now pick up avant-garde pieces ranging from minimalistic outerwear to interpretive tailoring staples and more.
Some of the standout pieces in the BLACK COMME des GARÇONS collection include a variety of harness and buckle-equipped shirts, the pair of heavy-twill balloon trousers, a bag that’s made from vintage T-shirts — making each piece unique — and its range of treated denim options.
Elsewhere we see a range of graphic T-shirts, with some sporting a design inspired by roads and road signs, as well as others featuring a large print of raised “resistance fists.”
Take a look at the entire BLACK COMME des GARÇONS collection in the gallery above, and shop everything online now on Dover Street Market’s website.
In other news, London’s Aro Archive will be holding its first-ever archival cyber sale.
