A$AP Ferg Reportedly Still an A$AP Mob Member According to A$AP Nast (UPDATE)
Contrary to previous statements made by the collective’s founding member A$AP Illz.
UPDATE (September 2, 2020): Contrary to earlier reporting, A$AP Ferg is still an active member of A$AP Mob according to A$AP Nast. Ferg’s place within the Harlem, New York hip-hop and creative collective was called into question by A$AP Illz and then confirmed by A$AP Bari in a stream of social media messages late last night. According to Illz, the publicized feud centered around Ferg’s stealing of ideas and taking credit for fashion movements within the collective.
But A$AP Nast was quick to dismiss the idea of Ferg leaving the group. Instead, he defended the rapper’s A$AP Mob affiliation in a stream of tweets that you can read below. Twitter. “DISPUTES HAPPEN IN FAMILYS ALL OVER THE WORLD EVERYDAY B!” He exclaimed. “ITS EXTREMELY EMBARRASSING AND UNNECESSARY FOR IT TO HAPPEN THE WAY IT DID BUT IT DID AND THIS WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF THE RIGHT WAY GOODNIGHT YALL.”
A$AP Ferg has been readying the release of his Floor Seats II project, recently premiering his “No Ceilings” single featuring Lil Wayne and appearing on the Nas track “Spicy” alongside Fivio Foreign. Back in August he dropped his “Move Ya Hips” music video and teased a collaboration with Marilyn Manson. Each of these releases dropped with the A$AP name attached. Stay tuned for more updates as Ferg has yet to speak on the matter publicly.

ORIGINAL STORY (September 1, 2020): A$AP Ferg is reportedly out of A$AP Mob, as announced by founding member A$AP Illz.
Taking to Instagram Stories to make the announcement, Illz wrote, “Ferg ain’t ASAP NO MORE sorry guys. that n*gga burnt out , songs dumb trash mr anthem cant get right.” He then shared a screenshot of text messages between them which saw Ferg telling Illz to give him a call, but Illz refused to do and replied, “F*ck off my line. F*ck is u textin for.”
Illz then alleged that Ferg had stolen his ideas, writing, “N*ggas be your mans to try to pick your brain & steal not to be loyal and real.” He continued with a message of support from one of the fans claiming that “Ferg lowkey became a snake,” then noted that the Hermés scarf and Cartier glasses Ferg wore in the group’s “Yamborghini High” music video was actually Illz’s.
Continuing his thread, Illz added a few more statements: “They’ve been calling me ‘The Golden Child’ for years now and it’s not for no reason….. I been him,” “Damn right I ain’t no yes man but you n*ggas don’t respect that sh*t. Y’all rather have a n*gga who’s not even halfway on my level around just cause he’s a yes man and do whatever you want at the snap of your fingers,” “It’s always a Reason behind everything trust me, Been quiet long enough don’t let these people fool you into BrotherHood When they Not Really For You And What You Stand For, “To all the Real Supporters, There is Still an Asap mob but no ferg. cancellation fees sent to the ‘trap lord,’” and “We created the textbook of pages you steal from.”
A$AP Bari also chimed in with a few comments, writing, “He said what he said” and “@asvpxillz started ASAP if it Wasn’t Him It Wouldn’t Have Been No ASAP Mob.” Ferg is yet to respond to Illz’s allegations and his supposed removal from the group.
