A$AP Ferg Pays Tribute to an Iconic Lil Wayne Mixtape With "No Ceilings" Single
“Like Wayne, I got ‘No Ceilings.’”
A$AP Ferg continues his hot-streak in 2020 with another high-profile collaboration, this time tapping Lil Wayne and Jay Gwuapo for his latest single “No Ceilings” alongside a new music video. It’s fitting that the Harlem rapper reach out to Wayne considering the track’s title — Tunechi’s incredible run of mixtapes in the 2000s resulted in 2009’s instant-classic No Ceilings mixtape and 2015‘s sequel.
“No Ceilings” follows Ferg’s “Move Ya Hips” featuring Nicki Minaj and MadeinTYO featuring a vintage workout instructional video to rival Kanye West’s “The New Workout Plan.” He also revisited his pre-quarantine trip to Australia in the “Some Type of Way Freestyle” visual.
His latest was produced by AXL while the music video was directed by Eif Rivera and continues to push his momentum toward his next full-length project Floor Seats II, set to release in the near future. Watch the new music video for A$AP Ferg’s “No Ceilings” above and stream the single below.
In more music updates, Octavian returned with his star-studded “Famous” track with contributions from Gunna and SAINt JHN.
