'PUBG' and 'Street Fighter V' Is Free for PlayStation Plus Members in September
Two cornerstone titles of their respective genres.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Street Fighter V in September for free. The latest offering from the service sees PUBG, which recently made its PlayStation 4 debut, is the 2017 title that is credited as kickstarting the popularity of the battle royale genre. Matches begin with 100 players dropping onto a map where they hunt for weapons and battle for survival until they’re the last one standing. The matches, however, have a time limit in the form of a neverending map that shrinks players together until there’s nowhere else to run.
Street Fighter V on the other hand has been the flagship title for Capcom for half a decade. It is an installment in the classic fighting series that has seen several updates and new characters over the year through DLC. Recently, a new version called Street Fighter V: Champion Edition was released, which includes previously added features and characters introduced in the vanilla game.
The titles will be available to download September 1 until and will be made available through the service until October 5.
In other gaming news, Sony recently opened pre-order registration for the PlayStation 5.
