Capcom Announce 'Street Fighter V: Champion Edition' and Introduce Gill to Roster
The former ‘Street Fighter III” boss has arrived.
Capcom has announced the next installment of the Street Fighter V series, Street Fighter V: Champion Edition. This promises the addition of content to the title, including 34 stages, over 200 different character costumes, and 40 characters, beginning with the first announcement to the roster: Gill. Gill is the end boss from the Street Fighter III series and the leader of the Secret Society. Using his pyrokinesis and cryokinesis abilities, Gill is able to use ice and fire elemental attacks and is scheduled to arrive in December for $5.99 USD or 100,000 Fight Money.
Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is expected to drop in February 2020 with Gill already included. Capcom will sell Street Fighter V: Champion Edition for $29.99 USD, but existing Street Fighter V players can upgrade to Champion Edition for $24.99 USD.
