Take a Full Look at the Union x Jordan Brand 2020 Apparel Collection
Focusing on nondescript and iconic images of Michael Jordan.
Following the reveal of flip-tongued Air Jordan 4s and new takes on the Zoom ‘92 and Delta Mid, Union and Jordan Brand have now offered a full look at their accompanying 2020 apparel collection.
Building on the idea of offering the next chapter (sophomore) in their ongoing collaborative partnership, the special range looks to push design through reimagining streetwear staples with innovative textiles. A deep survey of fabrics resulted in the sourcing of what Union calls “spacer knit.” The “two-faced” fabric features a double knit warp spacer poly/elastane technical knit face and a brushed interior backing.
The spacer knit is used in the construction of the leading Coaches Jacket, matching Leisure Pants and Shorts in “Ironstone,” “Bone,” “Navy,” “Psychic Blue” and “Rust Pink” colorways. Other items include Mechanic Shirts, J Long-sleeve T-shirt centered around a graphic showing Michael Jordan‘s arms reaching for the skies and Autograph Short-sleeve T-shirt with a backprint of MJ signing autographs. Rounding up the apparel collection are Flying High Hoodie and Reverse Dunk T-shirts emblazoned with black and white images of MJ performing some of his most iconic dunks.
The Union x Jordan Brand 2020 footwear and apparel collection will release on the Union webstore August 29, then see a full global drop August 30.
