Titleist's Vokey Design Shop Drops SM8 Jet Black Golf Wedges
Reducing glare on those sunny days.
Titleist’s Vokey Design division has just released a stealthy new golf wedge under its WedgeWorks shop. Designed by legendary club maker Bob Vokey, the SM8 was inspired by Tour players Cam Smith and Jimmy Walker, and feature an all-black design from its club face, the shaft, and exclusive BC Wings multi-compound grip.
Vokey Tour Representative Aaron Dill mentions that the black shade reduces glare on bright days, and when you factor in the custom stampings and paint fill, the wedge just “pops.” The SM8 wedge also sees a re-imagined progressive CG for improved distance and trajectory control which makes the club want to “square up” upon impact.
The Titleist Vokey Design SM8 Jet Black golf wedge starts at $184 USD with the option for a number of loft angles and customizable details. Look for the preorder now at Vokey where the finished product takes approximately 4-6 weeks to deliver.
