ASICS Refines GEL-Lyte III in Cream-Colored "Karakuri Pack”
Inspired by traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

ASICS has refined the GEL-Lyte III and XXX with minimal cream-colored iterations. Dubbed the “Karakuri Pack,” the new updates are inspired by traditional Japanese craftsmanship, presenting a much more rustic take on the silhouettes than the fluorescent “Limz” and “Aqri” colorways seen just three days ago.
Both silhouettes in the pack have been detailed with clean monochromatic uppers, embellished with delicate fabrics and rich embroidery. Most of the features on the OG model have been made tonal, with tiny accents of brass rivets appearing at the top eyelets and sidestripes. Offsetting the ecru-toned design, the midsole and rear quarter have been imagined in black for a bold two-toned contrast. The XXX, conversely comes with a design that spreads the contrasting shades more evenly. It sports a black tongue, white laces, white leather stripes, black underlays that frame the sidewalls, black rear quarters and white mesh panels along the body and toebox. As a final note, the shoe boasts an articulated midsole, complete with “GEL-LYTE XXX” branding across the mid-section to round off its crisp design.
The ASICS GEL-Lyte 3 OG and XXX from the “Karakuri Pack” are currently available on atmos’ website for $130 USD and $140 USD, respectively.
