No I.D. Sells Entire Music Catalog to Hipgnosis Sounds

Super-producer No I.D. has sold the rights to his entire musical catalog to Hipgnosis Sounds, a massive deal that packs a total of 273 tracks.
It’s a collection that spans hits with the likes of Jay-Z, Drake, Kanye West and even Logic, for his final album No Pressure, to mention a few. The news came from Billboard, reporting Hipgnosis Sounds officially acquired the “worldwide copyrights and publishing royalties” to No I.D.’s songs. “Not many have the best intentions for the artist and the creators,” No I.D. commented. “The Hipgnosis team has shown that they are a safe home for the songs that score our lives.” Founder of Hipgnosis Merck Mercuriadis noted, “Dion has been in the middle of everything that is great about Hip-Hop for more than two decades. He is a special creator and everyone in the Hipgnosis Family is proud to have him standing next to us.” Apart from the producer, Timbaland, as it turns out, also made the same move with the company last year.
