Boldy James and Jay Versace Deliver 'The Versace Tape'
Marking James’ Griselda Records debut.

Boldy James and Jay Versace have shared their collaborative joint, The Versace Tape.
Clocking in at just over 20 minutes, the 10-track project marks James’ Griselda Records debut and is released just a few weeks after Westside Gunn dubbed him as the newest member of the label. In a recent interview with Revolt TV, the rapper shared that the album was recorded in a week and studio sessions were held in Atlanta and Houston. “When I work, it’s usually geared around street s**t. That’s why it all makes sense because a lot of times I don’t have any intention on making it make sense to the fans. I’m just working,” he explained.
He continued, “When you hear something in its entirety, we’ve been sitting back like, “OK, this song might be suitable for this and this song might be suitable for that.” But, sometimes that s**t just comes together as is, like The Versace Project. Gunn literally damn near organized it the same way it was recorded. What you got is all that I did. I didn’t do anymore than what I’m giving.”
