Nike's Latest Air Max 97 Pops With Multi-Colored Stripes
A vibrant refresh for the classic silhouette.
Nike has given its Air Max 97 a vibrant multi-colored makeover. Following its tie-dyed golf model from the “Peace, Love and Golf” collection, the American footwear giant has opted for an equally colorful iteration packed with “Green Abyss,” “Phantom” and “Illusion Green” highlights.
Starting at the top of the shoe is a leather orange patch logo set atop a batted nylon base in a rich blue palette. Mint green accents appear along the edge of the collars and heel pull, complemented by two black leather stripes that wrap along the upper quarters. On the lower half of the shoe is thin orange suede, followed by a yellow stripe and crisp white mudguards. All of these details rest over a sleek ecru-toned midsole that’s been equipped with a full-length Air sole unit for optimal comfort.
The Nike Air Max 97 “Illusion Green” is currently available on Nike Japan’s website for $187 USD.
