Haroshi and Karimoku to Release Special Medicom Toy BE@RBRICK
Arriving in a 400% size.

On the heels of Haroshi’s “Fire Hydrant Co.” exhibition at NANZUKA’s Tokyo gallery is the celebrated Japanese sculptor’s latest collaboration with the expert woodworkers at Karimoku. The duo’s partnership centers upon a limited edition Medicom Toy BE@RBRICK figure.
Arriving in a size of 400% or roughly 8-inches tall, each collaborative piece was entirely sculpted by hand using discarded skateboards in varying, colorful woodgrains. Haroshi has long utilized skate decks as his preferred choice of medium to craft his whimsical sculptures that feature diverse subjects ranging from traditional Japanese folklore to western pop culture imagery.
The Haroshi x Karimoku Medicom Toy BE@RBRICK is now up for grabs on Medicom Toy’s website and select stockists in Japan for ¥550,000 JPY (approx. $5,195 USD).
