Lotta Volkova's adidas Originals Collection Reimagines Iconic Heritage of the Three Stripes
Womenswear looks accompanied by footwear styles like the SL72 and Trefoil Mule.
Celebrated as a maverick in the contemporary fashion work, Lotta Volkova has now teamed up with adidas Originals on a full collaborative collection. Drawing from her personal aesthetic expressed through styling, to modeling, casting and consulting in recent years, the adidas Originals by Lotta Volkova collection serves as the creative figure’s uncompromising vision of the brand’s archives. Drawing from the expansive selection, Volkova reimagined the iconic heritage of adidas with exclusive women’s ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear.
Leading the footwear side of the special range are two contrast colorways of the Trefoil Mule, which is a heeled reinterpretation of the iconic adilette. The open toe platform footwear style features a bold Trefoil logo on the upper strap framed by Three Stripes branding. The SL72, an original silhouette designed for athletes in the 70’s is also done in two colorways and features a retro design defined by a lightweight nylon upper accented by suede panels and leather details.
Touching on adidas’ sporting roots, the ready-to-wear element of the collection is comprised of relexed-fit tracksuits, windbreaker jackets, jumpsuits. Other sport fueled interpretations from Volkova include off-shoulder asymmetric tops, high-rise swimsuits, ice skating-inspired dresses, tennis skits and shorts all done in a vivd color palette. Rounding up the collaboration are accessories like retro leg warmers, foldable clutches and eye-catching table tennis handbags.
