Aaliyah's Estate Shares Update About Her Music's Streaming Availability
After it failed to hit streaming platforms earlier this January.

The music catalog of the late Aaliyah might be hitting streaming services soon.
Aaliyah Haughton’s Estate announced in an Instagram post that it is working with a number of record labels to officially release her catalog on streaming platforms. The Instagram post read, “We are excited to announce that communication has commenced between the estate and various record labels about the status of Aaliyah’s music catalogue, as well as its availability on streaming platforms in the near future. Thank you for your continued love and support. More updates to come!”
As of writing, the only Aaliyah project available to stream is her 1994 debut studio album Age Ain’t Nothing But a Number. Aaliyah’s uncle and former manager Barry Hankerson announced in December 2019 that her catalog would be available on Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL and Amazon Prime Music on January 16, 2020 — her supposed 41st birthday. The albums, however, never appeared.
