Slam Jam and Converse's Reconstructed Chuck 70 Drops in Vivid Red
More Frankenstein kicks have landed.

Last year, Slam Jam and Converse unveiled their Reconstructed Chuck 70 at the Milan Design Week, and now the imprints have coupled again for the release of a “Red/Sedona Red/Egret” pair.
Previous pairs were served in two signature Converse colorways, black or “Egret.” However, Slam Jam has looked to the sneaker brand’s archives and has introduced a daring shade of red to the Reconstructed Chuck 70, dominating its canvas upper.
Much like last year’s pairs, the red offering is crafted with premium materials, deliberate nuances, and an extraordinary attention to detail. The upper is split between two different shades of red, and is stitched together using white thread right down the middle.
White topstitching, a stitched-down leather All Star patch towards the rear-quarter, and a sole unit that’s split between “Egret” at the front and crisp white at the back round out Slam Jam’s unique pair. Finishing touches include a set of white laces, silver eyelets, and a translucent outsole that shows off tan and black inner components.
Take a look at the Slam Jam x Converse Reconstructed Chuck 70 in black, “Egret,” and the all-new “Red/Sedona Red/Egret” colorway above. The pairs are available on Slam Jam’s website while stocks last for $134 USD each.
In other news, Nike has released a new split-Swoosh Air Force 1 “Euro Tour.”
