AFFIX Mixes Natural and Industrial Worlds With ASICS Novablast Collaboration
Dressing the sneaker in “Strobe Blue” and “Mineral Brown” colorways.
Following on from the pair of GEL-Noosa Tri 12 colorways earlier this year, London-based label AFFIX has teased a new collaborative project with ASICS. The new release sees the collective — made up of Michael Kopelman, Kiko Kostadinov, Taro Smith and Stephen Mann — delivering two takes on the performance-inspired Novablast silhouette.
The sneaker has been reworked into two colorways, both of which reference the label’s utilitarian and workwear aesthetic. The first colorway features “Strobe Blue,” while the second comes in “Mineral Brown.”Both colorways sit atop a full-length FlyteFoam midsoles in an off-white color, which is also used across the sneaker’s laces and lining.
Take a look at the sneakers in the gallery above. The latest AFFIX x ASICS collaboration will receive a global pre-launch via the AFFIX web store on July 10 before releasing at select retailers on July 17.
