AFFIX & ASICS Reconnect for Minimalistic GEL-Noosa Tri 12 Duo

AFFIX and ASICS are continuing their collaborative line of technically-forward footwear with the release of two GEL-Noosa Tri 12 sneakers in black and white.
AFFIX — the collective comprised of Michael Kopelman, Kiko Kostadinov, Taro Smith and Stephen Mann — have given the GEL-Noosa Tri 12 a number of unique design touches, from its contrasting rubberized toe box to bead-like laces. Other notable design elements include its tongue, which has been highlighted in orange on the black pair and in red on the white pair, putting a focus on the cut-out.
The rubberized material found on the toe cap has been used to provide structure to the soft mesh upper, while tonal ASICS branding is overlayed on top. AFFIX branding is spotted at the rubberized rear and is joined by a contrast-color ASICS-branded heel tab.
