Snow Peak & Danner Link for Functional Take on Tachyon 6 Field Boot
Featuring a military-inspired speed-lacing system.
Following last year’s Trail Feel Pro boot capsule, Japanese outdoor brand Snow Peak has once again teamed with Danner for a special take on the Portland boot brand’s Tachyon 6 field boot. For the third collaboration, the brands — both of which have headquarters in Portland — have reworked the lightweight model to coincide with the warmer months ahead.
Offered up in either olive or black, the boot has been reworked with a military-inspired speed-lacing system for easy in-and-out access. The removable closure comes in suede, matching the paneling that can be seen throughout the trainer-inspired boot’s upper. More details include reinforced heel straps for optimal support, as well as branding hits from both brands that can be seen on the literal side.
Take a detailed look at the Snow Peak x Danner Tachyon 6 collaboration above. The boots are slated to drop at Snow Peaks brick and mortar locations as well it’s online store on March 20. The retail price is set at ¥20,000 JPY (approximately $192 USD).
