Pilot an EVA in Takara Tomy's Upcoming 'Evangelion BATTLEFIELDS' Mobile Game

For fans of the Evangelion series, Takara Tomy Arts recently released a trailer for its upcoming mobile game Evangelion BATTLEFIELDS.
The new game is a 3D, real-time action combat game that allows players to pilot and battle in their own EVA. Adding another element to the gameplay, Takara Tomy Arts has also prepared a controller made to resemble busts of EVA Unit-00 and EVA Unit-01. The controllers are connected via Bluetooth and function almost like a mouse with buttons bound t0 key battle commands and movement.
Additionally, figures can be placed on the shoulders of the controller to trigger in-game effects. ID chips at the base of each figure are tied to “Pilot and “Support” effects that can greatly affect gameplay. The first season of the game will see 12 figures released, all figures will be available through blind boxes.
