Salomon has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2020 collection, mixing its technical footwear designs with references from art, music and fashion. The FW20 collection can be split into three capsules: Sneakers, Advanced and Intersection.
The Sneakers capsule takes the outdoor sneakers and reworks them for city life, with silhouettes including the XT-6, XT-WINGS 2 and SPEEDCROSS 3. Additionally, hiking silhouettes including the XT-QUEST and XA-COMP have been incorporated into the Sneakers capsule.
For the Advanced range, Salomon introduces two new XT-4 ADVANCED colorways featuring graphics inspired sunrise and sunset through the eyes of ultra-trail athletes. As well as reinterpreting this sneaker, Salomon has upgraded its RX SNOW MOC and X-ALPINE MID silhouettes, while the XA PRO FUSION and XT-6 link the Advanced capsule to the Sneakers collection.
The third and final collection for Salomon is its Intersection capsule, through which it will introduce a number of collaborations over the course of FW20. Intersection partners to have already been announced include and wander and Fumito Ganryu.
Salomon’s FW20 collection will begin to release at select stockists and Salomon locations in July. A second installment of the collection will follow later this year.
In other footwear news, Stüssy and Nike have collaborated on the Air Zoom Kukini.
