Netflix has just dropped a new trailer for its upcoming comedy series Hoops, including an announcement on its official release date.

Created by Ben Hoffman and executive produced by him, Jake Johnson, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Seth Cohen, and M. Dickson, Hoops is an upcoming animated sitcom following the life of Coach Ben Hopkins, a hot-headed, foul-mouthed, defeated high school basketball coach voiced by Johnson. Rob Riggle will voice for Ben’s disapproving father Barry Hopkins, a former pro-athlete who then becomes a steakhouse owner, while Natasho Leggero will voice for Ben’s estranged wife Shannon, who tries to make her horse farm a success. Other characters include Ron Funches’ Ron, an assistant coach to Ben, Cleo King’s Opal, the high school principal, and A.D. Miles’ Matty, a 16-year-old boy who stands seven feet tall.

Hoops will arrive exclusively on Netflix August 21. For now, check out the trailer above.
