Nike Celebrates Paris Saint-Germain's 50th Anniversary With Home and Away Jerseys

Nike has continued its roll out of jerseys to be worn during the 2020/21 season with the new home and away kits for Paris Saint-Germain. The new jerseys mark the French club’s 50th anniversary, celebrating two different eras in the team’s history.
Both the home and away kit feature a singular broad red stripe, known as the Hechter stripe after it was introduced by club president Daniel Hechter three years after the club was founded. The 1973 kit is the inspiration for the home jersey, which features other ’70s-influenced details including an overlapping V-neck collar and ribbed trim on the sleeves.
For the away jersey, Nike has looked to the 1995/96 season when PSG won its first major European title. This design features a Hechter stripe lined with royal blue on a white background. This jersey is finished with a blue polo collar and two-button fastening.
Both the home and away jerseys are available now from the Nike web store and PSG’s online store.
In related news, Nike has also recently revealed the jerseys for Atletico Madrid and Chelsea.
