Studio Ghibli Releases Two New Hawaiian Shirts
Based on ‘Kiki’s Delivery Service’ and ‘My Neighbour Totoro.’
Studio Ghibli continues to expand on its lifestyle GBL line with the release of two new Hawaiian shirts and skirts. Days after they dropped Ghibli-themed skateboards, the anime studio is back with summer softgoods inspired by Kiki’s Delivery Service and My Neighbour Totoro.
The My Neighbour Totoro shirt comes clad in green and blue with Tororo’s acorns scattered throughout along with the Susuwatari traveling soot character. The “Memories of Koriko” Kiki’s Delivery Service shirt takes on a more complex design with various scenes of the 1989 animated film, highlighting Kiki, Tombo, the magical cat Jiji, and the city of Koriko.
Those interested can find both these prints on Hawaiian shirts and summer skirts over at GBL for ¥11,800 JPY (approximately $110 USD).
