Studio Ghibli Skateboards Offered at New Specialty Store in Tokyo
Featuring Robot Warrior, No-Face and the Catbus.

GBL Miyashita Park is an upcoming brick-and-mortar Studio Ghibli speciality store in Tokyo. Unlike the Donguri Kyowakoku chain that focuses on accessories and toys for children, the GBL Miyashita Park claims to offer high quality fashion items for adults, including officially produced Studio Ghibli skateboards.
Three of the most popular Studio Ghibli anime will be reflected in the collection of four skateboards, notably Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro and the Oscar-winning Spirited Away, featuring Robot Warrior, the Catbus and No-Face respectively.
The decks measure 80cm x 20.5cm, are made from Canadian maple wood, and each will set you back ¥12,000 JPY (approx. $112 USD). The GBL Miyashita Park is set to open on July 28 at Rayard Miyashita Park shopping center in Tokyo’s Shibuya district.
