adidas Originals Adilette Premium Slides Receive Micropacer-Inspired Makeover

Continuing to celebrate its expansive range of heritage footwear, adidas Originals has now given its adilette Premium Slides a Micropacer-inspired makeover.
Debuted in the ’80s, the adidas Originals Micropacer served as a revolutionary moment in digital innovation for performance footwear. The homage to the icon is centered around the metallic pop element associated with the archival style.
The slip-on construction features a smooth leather lining and a synthetic upper with a silver base and black-framed light blue Three Stripes branding. The synthetic outsole is printed with a top-down view of Micropacer on the footbed of the slides. Rounding up the design of the casual footwear option is a black and red segmented rubber outsole taken from the original. Included with the slides is a set of metallic dog tags that showcase the archive shoe that inspired the design.
Priced at £45 GBP (approximately $55 USD), the Micropacer-inspired Adilette Premium Slides are available now at adidas UK.
