Kanye West Misses South Carolina Ballot Despite Controversial Rally
Going on a Twitter rant naming Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Drake, Anna Wintour, Shia LaBeouf and more.

According to reports, Kanye West did not make it on the South Carolina ballot despite holding his very controversial presidential rally.
Chris Whitmore, Director of Public Information for the South Carolina State Election Commission, reportedly said that ’Ye’s campaign missed the deadline. Kanye, who is running as an independent candidate under the Birthday Party, was not able to put together 10,000 signature to become a petition candidate by the July 20, 12 p.m. EDT cutoff. It is also interesting to note that Kanye’s campaign did not submit any traditional or electronic signature to the state’s election committee.
Missing the deadline means that the only way Kanye West can appear on South Carolina’s ballot come November 3 is if he becomes back by an established political party (Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Green, etc.), as the state has no write-in option.
After attempting to gather signature over the weekend via a petition on Twitter, Kanye took to the Exquis Event Center in North Charleston to stir up support for his 2020 presidential campaign. But at the impromptu event, the polarizing figure went on an erratic rant that reportedly has friends and family worried. For a while now, sources have been noting that Kanye is experiencing a bipolar episode but is reluctant to receive professional help for his mental health.
Adding to the erratic behavior, Kanye West also went on a Twitter rant that named naming his wife Kim Kardashian, mother-in-law Kris Jenner, Drake, Shia LaBeouf and Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour. In the stream of tweets, which have now been partially deleted, Kanye West reveals how his wife urged him to get help and claimed that Jordan Peele‘s Get Out is actually based on him, ending with simply “Ima focus on the music now.”
