The animated visual, directed by Emonee LaRussa and a talented animating crew of 13 others, sees all four artists placed in a psychedelic, out-of-this-world setting. Tokens relating to relationships, the GRAMMYs and even internal struggles are shown throughout the music video, symbolizing the possible causes of “Ego Death” for musicians such as themselves.
“Ego Death” is set to appear on $ign’s upcoming studio album Dream House, which is billed as the followup to 2017’s Beach House 3.
