GKids and Fathom Events’ Studio Ghibli Fest is officially returning for its 2024 edition.

This year’s celebration will see a total of 14 films returning to theaters, as well “special celebrations” for the anniversaries of Kiki’s Delivery Service, Pom Poko and Howl’s Moving Castle. In addition to Hayao Miyazaki’s films, the 2024 edition will also highlight the works of directors such as Yoshifumi Kondo, Hiroyuki Morita and Hiromasa Yonebayashi for the festival that takes place from April all the way until December.

Fathom Events CEO Ray Nutt looked back at the “overwhelming success” of the 2023 festival, further stating the “enduring legacy of Studio Ghibli films and the passion that fans have when it comes to seeing these classics in the theater. We’re excited to bring those very fans more of what they want this year, especially through another exciting collaboration with GKIDS.”
