Nike Offers the Cortez In Its Own "Since '72" Colorway
Offering an aged look.
Nike is adding the Cortez silhouette to its lineup of “Since ‘72” iterations.
The upcoming women’s exclusive is crafted with a yellowed leather base for that aged look, while sharp contrasts of teal land on the panel swoosh and heel. Special branding can be found on the vintage Nike logos on the tongue tag, heel and insoles, the last of which features a distinctive and enlarged “Since ‘72” insignia. The shoe rests on an aged midsole (with a streak of teal) and gum outsole, while plain white laces tie the shoe together for a clean finish.
