Midnight Studios and AKILA Introduce the Mickey Punk-Era Sunglasses

Following its collaboration with ROKIT, AKILA has now tapped Midnight Studios for a new frame style.

Inspired by designer Shane Gonzales’ own DIY aesthetic, the Mickey sunglasses expresses a punk-era sensibility. Available in shiny silver and matte black, the circular, stainless steel frame features temples assembled from safety pins. Each handcrafted pair comes complete with flat, zero-base lenses that include anti-reflective coating and 100% percent UV protection.

The Midnight Studios x AKILA Mickey Sunglasses capsule is set to release July 9, 10 a.m. PST on AKILA’s website.
