The Streets Drop Video For “I Wish You Loved You As Much As You Love Him”
The second track from Mike Skinner’s forthcoming mixtape.
Following last month’s lockdown release, Mike Skinner’s The Streets have unveiled the latest music video for its new single “I Wish You Loved You As Much As You Love Him”, the second track from the forthcoming mixtape None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Life Alive.
Shot using an unmistakably British backdrop, the multi-faceted video was made, directed and edited by Mike Skinner himself. Featuring UK musicians Donae’o and Greentea Peng, Skinner described the track as “a summer club song” in a recent interview with Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1.
None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Life Alive has been recorded between work on the accompanying film to The Streets new album. Guest spots on the album range from Tame Impala and IDLES, to Jimothy Lacoste and cult south London rapper Jesse James Solomon.
None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Life Alive will be released via Island Records on 10 July 2020, and is available for pre-order here.
